The symposium “Taking a Stand?” in November 2019 explored the historic Bauhaus and its reception as well as its present and future relevance. As bauhaus_guest #3, the symposium’s curator Andrea Bärnreuther presents the eponymous publication which she has published for the Bauhaus-Archiv / Museum für Gestaltung.

In our online format bauhaus_guests, we invite experts from the fields of culture, art and science to share their perspective on the Bauhaus with us.

The book is available online for free: Taking a Stand? Debating the Bauhaus and Modernism (pdf)
